Mother & Daughter Apron Set

I finished a Mother & Daughter Apron set.
I love them and they turned out really cute.
100% cotton, roomy pockets, and lined with soft muslin for durablity and strength.

House Whisperer

Tomorrow my friend, Christine MacShane, will be wearing one of my work aprons on her weekly segment of The House Whisperer featured on the local KHSL (channel 12) morning news.  I am excited and nervous at the same time. It will be the first time for me to experience any type of "exposure". Wow- a step in the direction to success. The success is mostly personal in nature. Success in my heart that I am pushing forward with a dream I feel passionate about.

Rainy Days

Today is another rainy, blustery day. On days like this Summer and gardening feel very far away.
When I feel gray, like the weather, I try to envision a sunnier place to occupy my thoughts.
Artist-Robert Duncan, is by far, my favorite artist.
His art portrays a lifestyle I embrace with my heart and soul.
If one could see in my heart, this is what they would see...

Sunflower Cottage

Someday Girasole Farm will have a Sunflower Cottage.
I dream of a cottage that may look like this.
The Sunflower Cottage will be filled with gardening gadgets, canning supplies and country life necessities.
I am a dreamer. Always have been. Always will be.
